FAQs

Will my dog need to be actively crate training during training process in order to be successful in our training program?

Absolutely. This is non-negotiable. There is such importance behind why your dog should feel safe and comfortable in the crate and will only benefit and enhance your overall relationship in and outside of the home.

How many training sessions will my dog need?

This is very dependent on your dog’s pace and also how consistent you are in training. If you’re working toward your goal on a daily basis you will see results much quicker! Without repetition and consistency, results can be easily flawed.

Will my dog need to be reliant on any one tool?

Your dog could very well continue the use of whatever tool is most effective for you and for them. Just because the tool is there doesn’t mean it’s always needing to be used. Sometimes reminders are needed for even humans, so don’t rush the idea of losing a tool. If something is working for you, why stop?

Do I need to train my dog every day and for how long?

Absolutely! Life happens and there will be times where you can’t, don’t beat yourself up! I believe it’s good practice to do what you can with what you have. So if you have 15-20 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night, make it happen! Just be intentional with how you spend that time so it means something for your dog and keep in mind that no training is better than bad training and good training is better than none.
